Scope
This policy covers smartcat.globalswanky.com and the customer support we provide by email and telephone. It is issued by Global Swanky LLC, 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #36167, Casper, WY 82609, United States, which is the controller of the personal information described here.
Checkout is hosted by Shopify. When you proceed to payment you move onto Shopify's infrastructure, and Shopify's own privacy policy governs the processing of your payment details there. We never see or store your full card number.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Order information — name, shipping address, billing address, email address and telephone number.
- Support correspondence — the contents of emails or calls, including any photographs or video you send us about a fault.
- Marketing preferences — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and the time spent on them.
- Cookie identifiers — see Cookies and tracking.
Information we never collect
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details. We do not collect biometric data, precise geolocation, or any special category data.
How we use it
- To process, fulfil and deliver your order, and to communicate about it.
- To provide customer support, and to handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
- To send marketing email, where you have asked to receive it.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following bases: contract for processing needed to fulfil your order; legitimate interests for fraud prevention, site analytics and service improvement; consent for marketing email and non-essential cookies; and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

Cookies and tracking
We use three categories of cookie:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site and checkout to function. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — help us understand which pages are used and where visitors run into trouble. The data is aggregated.
- Advertising — used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, in some cases, to show you relevant ads elsewhere.
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent checkout from working. Most browsers also support a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour as an opt-out of sale or sharing where applicable law recognises it.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Receive a copy in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Opt out of marketing email, using the unsubscribe link in any message.
To exercise any of these, email support@globalswanky.com. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity first — we will not disclose personal information to someone who cannot demonstrate they are entitled to it. Exercising a right will never result in worse service or pricing.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as well as the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. In the twelve months preceding the date of this policy we have disclosed the categories of information described in Who we share it with for the business purposes listed there.
To submit a request, email support@globalswanky.com with the subject line "California privacy request". You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for written proof of authorisation.
Security
The site is served over TLS. Order and payment processing takes place on Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant platform. We limit access to personal information to staff who need it, and we review that access periodically.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email to subscribers and by a notice on the site.
