Global Swanky LLC is committed to making smartcat.globalswanky.com accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or the technology used to reach it. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as a retrofit.
Standard we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, neurological and learning disabilities.
What we have done
- Keyboard access. Every interactive control — menus, galleries, tabs, accordions and the buy controls — can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and a visible focus indicator shows where you are.
- Semantic structure. Pages use real headings in a logical order, landmark regions, and lists where content is a list, so assistive technology can navigate them.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Colour and contrast. Body text and interface controls are checked against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Reduced motion. Every animation and scroll effect is disabled automatically when your system is set to "reduce motion".
- Responsive text. The layout reflows without loss of content or function at 200% zoom and at narrow viewport widths.
- Skip link. A "skip to content" link is the first focusable element on every page.
Known limitations
We are honest about what is not finished:
- Checkout. Payment is handled on Shopify's platform, which we do not control. Shopify publishes its own accessibility information for that step.
- Informational graphics. Some product diagrams carry text inside the image. Where they do, the same information is available as real text elsewhere on the page — but the images themselves are not yet fully described.
Both are on our list. If either blocks you today, contact us and we will help directly.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site, please tell us. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and to give you a remedy or a timeline within 10.
